9/12 Project – Submit Video

I agree to be a participant in the Air Force Historical Foundation’s "9/12 Oral History Project." I understand that these recordings are to be “Unclassified” candid stories by individual participants, as opposed to highly structured interviews. I understand that any materials I submit must include “Unclassified” content only. The video recordings are to be candid stories by individual participants, as opposed to highly structured interviews.

I understand that these video histories and related materials will serve as a record of detailed experiences helping to preserve individual histories and serve as a scholarly and educational resource for various audiences to have a better glimpse into the 20-year War both at home and abroad.

I understand that the Air Force Historical Foundation plans to retain the product of my participation in this project as part of its permanent collections.

I hereby grant to the Air Force Historical Foundation ownership of my materials. Additionally, I grant the Air Force Historical Foundation (at no cost) the transferable rights to use, communicate, display, and prepare derivative works from. I authorize the redistribution of my materials in related mediums and events, including the Air Force Historical Foundation’s website, social media channels, Digital Archives, and through the Foundation’s museum partnerships. By giving this permission, I understand that I retain any copyright and related rights that I may hold.

I hereby release the Air Force Historical Foundation from any and all claims and demands in connection with the use of my collection, including but not limited to claims for copyright infringement, invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity.

By participating in this project, I agree that any materials submitted will be suitable for a variety of audiences. I agree that all materials submitted will be respectful, utilizing appropriate language, tone, subject matter, and clothing/backgrounds. Should any part of my submission be found to include materials that the Air Force Historical Foundation feels are inappropriate for retention, the Foundation may dismiss the usage of such materials in accordance with its procedures for disposition of materials not needed for the Foundation’s collections.
