Air Force Historical Foundation Book Club

The Air Force Historical Foundation’s online Book Club provides readers with an opportunity to connect on various topics related to Air and Space history. We hold our events every other month via Zoom with the featured book’s author and special guests in attendance, each with a deeply rooted personal connection to the book’s subject matter. Join a community of readers, historians, veterans, and authors from around the world dedicated to digging deeper into topics related to U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force history and operations.

“Reading is an honor and a gift from a warrior or historian who-a decade or a thousand decades ago-set aside time to write…to have a conversation with you. It would be unethical to not take advantage of such accumulated experiences.”

Gen. James N. “Chaos” Mattis, 26th US Secretary of Defense

Book Club Moderator:

Lt Col Dik A. Daso, USAF (Ret)
Executive Director, Air Force Historical Foundation

Join us as the Executive Director, Dik Daso, leads the discussion and Phil talks about his latest books, his love of Airpower, and his career highlights.

We will be highlighting the release of AFHF/AU Press publication, A Few Great Captains, by Pete Copp. This epic tale of the US Army Air Corps and Air Forces reminds us all how important it is to “KNOW THE PAST and SHAPE THE FUTURE.”

Our Air Force Historical Foundation (Official) Goodreads Group serves as a place for our Book Club fans to connect and discuss our picks. Join us!
