Today marks the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the USAF as a separate military service. The Air Force Historical Foundation is celebrating the day in Denver, CO. The Foundation is finishing up a three-day symposium and will present its most prestigious literary awards along with the I.B. Holley Award honoring a lifetime of achievement in historical research, education, and mentorship. Stay tuned for a report on the event in the coming days.
